China Electricity Council (CEC) is one and the only industry organization of power industry in China .Technical Consulting Center is subjected to CEC, is mainly on providing technical service for government, power industry and company, main function as follows : to draft technical program and technical report in power industry for government organizations i.e. NDRC,MOST,SERC etc, technical achievement application, technical achievements promotion, technical information service, technical consulting on every field of power construction, operation, management etc. and instruct the coal fired power sub-association of CEC, hydro power sub-association of CEC and National Technical Market Association.

After reform of power industry system in China, TCC have more clear objection in industry service,especially in near three years, we committed ourselves to provide excellent and all-sided technical service and support, and keep extending the service scope and content to meet diverse needs of power related company .TCC accept application of technical achievement appraisal, promote advanced technology and products,establish eight technical associations by electricity generation mode,each of which has his own website, member base,information base and technical database etc. providing technical service for power industry.

Besides organizing key technology communication, TCC also provides training on special technical knowledge and skill ,i.e. energy conservation ,maintenance optimize, operation optimize etc.For improving electricity production and management level, TCC provide to consult on maintenance technology, cost optimizing, enterprise standard etc. At same time,by cooperation with foreign power association, come to establish relationship with them, to explore our technical service space and vision.

We can complete about 40 technical achievements appraisal, organize at least 8-10 proseminars on special technical topic, organize technical training and consulting as the member needs.

TCC of CEC,by the experience and keen service for several years,has set up and keep wide and good relationship with State Grid, South Grid, Five Power Group, Shen Hua Group and other power companies of different grade, also related government organization i.e. and power institute, university etc. It is the authority technical organization in China power industry.
