National coal-fired units technical association traces to the units competition commissioned by general federation of trade unions. With the development and innovation in TCC, the units competition has been cultivated to become the national coal-fired units technical association, which is a flat promoting communication between the power generation companies and power equipment manufactures. The members of the association is classified by the capacity which is 100MW grade,200MW grade,300MW grade,600MW grade, nearly covered all the units with capacity above 100MW, and is representative in the power industry. Up to the end of 2006, we have 360 company members ,800 units members。

Each year the association hold the competition on the key economic and operation data of power units, summarize a technical report and data statistic sheets with all the information in it, to help the generation companies to improve the stability level and economical operation level.

The association would Organize all kinds special technique conference and proseminar i.e. optimize maintenance, optimize operation, information technique etc.,to provide technical information, solve technical problems, technical solution, technical consulting.

The CFB association is approved to be established by NDRC, for pushing the CFB technology and service in China, whose main member is the CFB units. So far ,there are 231 membership companies and 306 membership units.

The CFB association service scope is as follows: Propagandize and implement the national policy on clean coal firing technology and push it, being a good helper and bridge; stick up the legal rights of the members; organize investigating , put forward suggestion on clean coal firing technology policy and program, hold proseminar on construction,operation technology; develop diversified technical consulting and trade in China and cooperate with foreign organizations;hold proseminar on construction ,operation technology of power plant, boost the stability level of it ,solve technical problems, provide technical consulting; set up professor database;provide information on equipment product, power plant construction,operation performance and related problems etc.; organize units competition to improve the safety ,economical operation level; release the important technology achievement,serious equipment fault and hidden trouble, experience on units reconstruct;information of foreign units on economical performance, stability index; water saving,oil saving, pollution drainage etc.

With TCC of CEC and hydro-power generation engineering academy sponsor together ,and the support of State Grid, China South Grid, Five power group , National Hydro-power plant technical association is set up on 16 Sep. 2004. Up to now ,there are 93 company members. The mission of the association is “coordinate the power in hydro electricity, collect the sounds of the industry ,expose the figure ,push the development” The secretary office of the association take “member’s needs and service goes first” as the routine principle, to deploy technical service activity, construct a technical flat of national hydro power company, solve all kinds of technical problems, complete technical service.

With the TCC of CEC and National power generation units association sponsor together and with the support of all the power group , the association is set up on 18 Aug,2006. The mission of the association is “communication, coordination, service, promote”, target of which is to provide technical service for industry company. We are trying to shape it to a important flat and channel for wind power technology in China.

With the support of the economic operation bureau of NDRC,power supply supervision section of SERC and petroleum industry, petroleum chemistry industry, chemistry industry, aluminium,steel,cement, automobile industry, Big power consumption enterprise technical association is established in July,2006 in Beijing.

The association will unite the strength of power consumption companies, face and handle with the common problems. On one hand, strengthen the communication between the power consumption companies ,between power consumption and power generation companies, to promote the power job; on the other hand, during the reforming period in power industry,stick up for the reasonable rights for the power consumption companies, exert its function for harmonic power .

After the industry reforming, CEC set up “CEC achievement appraisal off” as to its industry function to push technology progress ,strengthen the achievement management, provide technical service.

Since the foundation, the office keep its high quality standard, severe requirement, scientific ,practical and realistic spirit, strictly follow the instruction of “technical achievement appraisal management regulation” . For the years, we make our best to improve our work, form our figure, shape our authority and public trust in industry, and accept by the industry. So far ,we have complete about 300 achievements appraisal, and publish bulletin in power professional medium. We own a professor database with 700 persons in .

Main service content:
Establish industry technical achievement appraisal management regulation; organize, manage and push the appraisal; organize to draft industry technical and technology plan and program; establish and perfect technical and technology achievement information management system.
